(4mm) Variable in colour, but the pronotum always has a fine, raised margin along its basal edge.
Widespread, but local, in England and Wales. Typically found in herbage and shrub layers on well-drained soils. Feeds mainly on aphids, but also honeydew, pollen, nectar, and scale insects (Coccids).
