| Aromia moschata (Linnaeus, 1758) [dbid 38245] 13-34 mm long. Striking metallic green or blue with antennae as long as, or longer than, the combined head and body length. Found in deciduous woodland, especially willow, across central Europe. Local in southern Britain. The larvae develop in willows, particularly old pollarded trees. Flies June to August emits a musky secretion. |
