OS Grid: SK5828504188 streetmap
Founded circa ll07 by the first Earl of Leicester as a collegiate chapel attached to the castle. Restored 1853-4 by Sir George Gilbert Scott with additions in 1899 by GF Bodley.
The interior is ghostly, architecturally shambolic, and fascinating.
